Union Carpenter Introduces POTUS During Visit to Elk Grove Village

We watched with pride last week as 30-year Carpenters Local 250 Member Jerry Wenzel introduced President Joe Biden at an event in Elk Grove Village. Wenzel is now a senior field operations manager at Clayco and discussed how much he loved being a Union Carpenter and how important Unions are for the success of the projects he oversees.

President Biden was also effusive with praise for Unions during his speech, which focused on the importance of vaccines. He even gave a special shout out to the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters! You just don’t see that very often from a sitting President. It was awesome!

Without unions we would not have a middle class in America,” President Biden said.

Amen, Mr. President.
