Our union has been around for more than 135 years and leads the way in training, protecting and representing the next generation of skilled construction professionals. The Chicago Regional Council is made up of 19 local unions across Illinois and Eastern Iowa that represent men and women in the construction and maintenance industries who are the best at what they do. Our size, strength, and hard-earned reputation for professionalism gives us a collective voice at the bargaining table to negotiate the best wages and benefits in the carpentry profession.
