One Trade, Many Crafts

The term “carpenter” is a blanket term for the numerous skills performed by the members of the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council. Throughout its history the union has developed many specialty crafts. The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council offers every member continuing and developmental training in all of these specialties. Many members are proficient in numerous crafts.

As carpenters our scope of work also includes the following: stair building; furniture installation; trim, door and hardware installation; garage/overhead doors; panel installation; shelving, signage and wall hangings; and the installation of window treatments.
