Rain Can’t Stop Us: Carpenters At Mexican Independence Day Parade

Despite torrential downpours, our members showed up and marched in Chicago’s annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade.

Held in Chicago’s Little Village Neighborhood, the annual Hispanic cultural event draws in visitors from across the Midwest. Union Carpenters and Chicago representatives participated in the parade and talked to visitors about how our members benefit all of our communities.

A group of people, many wearing blue "Carpenters" shirts, stand together on a street, smiling and cheering. Some hold flags and signs, and a few wear rain ponchos or hats. Buildings and a fence are in the background.
