DOL Changes to Davis Bacon Could Mean Higher Wages

In March, The US Department of Labor proposed changes to Davis Bacon for the first time in 40 years.

According to a news release from DOL, the update to the act would reflect more pay for workers in the construction industry. The proposal seeks to speed up future prevailing wage updates, ensuring prevailing wage rates keep up with the cost of living and could mean higher wages for workers.
