Carpenters' EST Gary Perinar received the 2018 George Meany Award from the Boy Scouts of America for his service to the community and working families in our union trades. 

Applications for this year's William A. Lee Memorial Scholarship are now available on the Chicago Federation of Labor website.

Effective Oct. 31, 2018, the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America (“UBC”) completed the process of restructuring the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters. The UBC’s Restructure Plan includes merging a number of local unions affiliated with the Regional Council.
