The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council is honored to partner with True Patriots Care to recognize and support those who have served as members of the armed services.
We’re especially grateful for the opportunity to do our part and set up more than 1,500 flags and the wall at The Wall That Heals Memorial at Randall Oaks Park in West Dundee, IL. “The Wall That Heals” exhibit features a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Thank you to Assistant to the EST Joe Weber who led the effort and all our volunteers who donated their time for this great cause. MACRC leadership attended an opening ceremony and UBC 2nd General Vice President Gary Perinar gave remarks about how proud our union is to support veterans.
