On March 18, 2020, the Families First Coronavirus Response Act ("FFCRA") was signed into law. The FFRCA provided two types of paid leave. The first is the Emergency Paid Sick Leave Act, which allows qualifying employees up to two weeks of paid leave. The second leave expands on the Family Medical Leave Act and compensates qualifying employees for up to 12 weeks.
