Volunteer Incentive Program

The Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) was launched to encourage and reward outstanding Member involvement and participation in Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council activities and initiatives.

Cub Club

Cub Club is an initiative from the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council to promote union involvement among our apprentices. We’re creating a space where the next generation of union carpenters and millwrights can meet with fellow apprentices to network, ask questions, and learn how they can become more involved with their local unions and communities.

Cub Club is open to all active apprentices. After your first Cub Club, you can start earning rewards through the Incentive Program.

Member ID Card

Every member who has completed training should have received an ID card from the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC). Previously, the UBC mailed these cards to members, now they are available through the UBC Mobile App. If you still have a physical card, don’t throw it away. The card and app can be scanned to show the UBC training classes you’ve completed throughout the years.

Treat the card and app as a “resume in your back pocket” and be prepared to present it to a prospective employer.
