Union Carpenters working on the President Obama Center in Chicago recently had a chance to meet the former president on the jobsite.
Obama went specifically to see the how the skilled tradesmen and women were doing on the project. Local 10 apprentice Rudy Morales said that it was inspiring just to work on the project.
The Obama Center has created hundreds of good paying, union jobs for the people of Chicago. It’s not everyday that you get to meet a former US President while working.
