The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council will hold a Special Call Meeting on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Conference Center, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook, Illinois for the purpose of accepting nominations from the floor for the following offices:
Executive Secretary-Treasurer
President
Vice President
Executive Committee Members (9 to be elected)
Trustee (3 to be elected)
Conductor
Warden
By virtue of his office, the Executive Secretary-Treasurer will be a delegate to any General Convention of the United Brotherhood and all meetings of the United Brotherhood, State Building and Construction Trades Councils’ Labor Federations, and any other organization, conference or meeting with which the Regional Council may participate or become affiliated with.
The term of office for Regional Council officers is four years.
To be nominated for a Regional Council officer position, you must be a member in good standing with a Local Union affiliated with the Regional Council and you must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in Section 31D of the UBC Constitution. A member must be nominated by a delegate in good standing in attendance at the nomination meeting.
An election, if needed, will be held at a Special Call Meeting on Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Hilton Chicago/Oak Brook Hills Conference Center, 3500 Midwest Road, Oak Brook, Illinois. You must be a delegate to the Regional Council to vote in the election.
