UPDATE:  Due to tremendous public interest, registration for the Nov. 15 open house is now closed. Please join us for our Carpenter Apprenticeship Open House on Nov. 16, 2017, at 5:30 p.m.

As part of National Apprenticeship Week, this event will feature a facility tour followed by a presentation about the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters’ successful Registered Apprenticeship Program. This will be followed by a special panel where attendees can hear from the Carpenter Training Center administrators and instructors as well as current and former apprentices. This free event is open to the public and business community.

  • For the industry they diversify the workforce, improve productivity and profitability, standardize training, reduce turnover and more.
  • For apprentices, the average starting wage is more than $35,000, and workers will earn an average of $300,000 more over their lifetime than their nonapprentice peers.
