The Mid-America Carpenters are working on the $280 million redevelopment on the famed Thompson Center in downtown Chicago.
This is one of the city’s most high-profile projects and Union Carpenters are the go-to workforce to make sure the job gets done right. The building’s facade and internal systems will all be replaced as the building is transitioned into Google’s new Chicago headquarters.
Building improvements include energy modernization and creating office space for 2,000 workers. Construction is expected to finish in 2026.
