Local 10 Carpenters Rebuild Chicago Community Center

Local 10 Union Carpenters teamed up with a local nonprofit to make repairs to the Chicagoland area community center.

More than 20 members worked with Rebuilding Together to make repairs to the Ada S. McKinley Adult Care Community Center in Chicago’s Chatham neighborhood.

A group of people stand indoors holding a large banner that reads, "Strong Alone. Unstoppable Together. Union Carpenters We Build Careers" with the Carpenters Union logo and website.

The Carpenter volunteers erected walls, built benches for the center’s garden area and repaired doors along the interior and exterior of the building.

Our members have signed up to work on projects like these monthly with the organization over the course of 2023. It’s an honor to give back to the communities that we live, work and build in.
