COVID-19 Vaccinations Available to Illinois Seniors 65 and Older

Currently, Phase 1B of Illinois’ COVID-19 vaccination program has begun, allowing frontline workers and residents age 65 and over to get vaccinated.

Most people will get the vaccine through their own doctors or at a local pharmacy, where appointments are necessary. Right now, Jewel/Osco, Mariano’sWalmartCVS and Walgreens are the first to roll out registration pages in Illinois.

The Carpenters Center for Health will also provide vaccinations as soon as a supply is made available.

Check your county’s public health department for more information about how to sign up for a vaccination. For a directory of local health departments, click HERE.
