It’s official! The Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters is now the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council! This change reflects our growing jurisdiction after our recent merger with the St. Louis-Kansas City Regional Council.
Both the Chicago and St. Louis-Kansas City Regional Councils are rich with tradition as the birthplace of the UBC and the location where our Union was first organized.
Our new logo preserves some of that storied history and includes the UBC emblem that unites us all and serves as a symbol of our Union’s ideals. We now boast a membership of more than 50,000 hardworking men & women, making us one of the largest Regional Councils in the UBC.
