Carpenters Signing Days Welcome New Members

Signing days held across the Regional Council welcome new members to the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council.

Just like high school athletes committing to colleges and universities to play for those schools’ sports teams, these high school graduates are signing to join the Brotherhood and start their new career.

A large group from South Tech High School in St. Louis all joined the union. They’ve signed with contractors PARIC, CCS, Fischer & Frichtel, Con-Tech and Revolutionary Builders.

Additionally, Kansas City held its annual signing day recently with four millwrights and a carpenter taking part. Each signee brought along friends and family to the event including Wyatt Beatty, who signed with 4-Gen Construction. Wyatt is now a fifth-generation union carpenter. He was joined by his father, grandfather and a photo of his great-great grandfather Howard Hendricks, who retired out of Local 61. Welcome to our union, gentlemen.
