NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
US Bank is allowing contractors to pay workers less than what our community expects.
US Bank brought in D & F Constructors, an out-of-town contractor, for their bank remodel in Lee’s Summit. D & F then hired Welch Construction for the carpentry work. Welch Construction does not meet area labor standards for all its carpenter-craft workers, including fully paying for family health benefits and pension retirement benefits.
Workers deserve fair pay and benefits for their hard work. US Bank needs to make sure ALL workers on their projects are treated fairly.
US Bank makes plenty of money from our community but hired an out-of-town contractor that hired subcontractors that don’t meet our local labor standards. They should make sure construction workers at their buildings get fair pay and benefits.
SHAME ON US BANK FOR ALLOWING CONTRACTORS TO IGNORE OUR COMMUNITY’S LABOR STANDARDS!
