Union Building Trades Stepped In To Help Out

When word got out that the Little Sisters of the Poor had a flood at their elderly care center on Chicago’s north side, Union building trades stepped in to help out.

A broken sprinkler caused the flooding that resulted in several thousand dollars worth of damage. But thankfully, the Chicago and Cook County Building Trades worked with the Carpenters, Electricians and Sprinkler Fitters Unions to quickly fix the problem and repair the damage.

Thanks to our Training Center instructors and apprentices for volunteering their time and to our partner Just Rite for providing the material. They got the job done in a day! Great to see Union building trades come together to help those in need!
