House Speaker Emanuel “Chris” Welch stopped by the Regional Council’s Delegate meeting on Saturday to congratulate our members on all their hard work getting the state’s clean energy bill passed into law!
Speaker Welch was instrumental in getting the bill across the finish line and making sure it contained the strongest labor standards in the country, including Prevailing Wage Act provisions for all non-residential clean energy projects and PLAs on all utility-scale wind and solar projects.
