Mid-America Carpenters And Millwrights Build New Des Moines Airport

Mid-America Carpenters and Millwrights are helping build the new $550 million terminal for the Des Moines International Airport.

Our members working for signatory contractors like Weitz, PCI, Allied and ASI are performing carpenter packages and baggage system conveyor installations. The project is expected to open early next year at which time portions of the old terminal will be torn down to make way for future roadway and Administration Building installations.

Future expansion phases are already planned for with airport leadership estimating airport traffic will continue to increase over the next 20 years. Our highly skilled carpenters and millwrights are excited to be part of the team getting this project off the ground.
