KC Set To Graduate Largest Class Of Journeymen Ever

Regional Director Rocky Kloth recently sat down with Fox 41 News in Kansas City about KC’s biggest ever apprenticeship graduation class. The apprentices are set to formally graduate from the program at a ceremony on Friday, Oct. 27.

The news crew also spoke to fourth-year apprentice Dan Cooper about his experience in the union.

“I’m a union carpenter, local 315. I’ve done many different things since I’ve been here — doors, sheet rock, metal studs,” Cooper said. “I would tell any young person or even someone stuck in a mediocre job — join a trade. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.”
