Trump and the Republicans are attempting a $1 trillion redistribution of wealth, taking from the middle class and giving it to the rich according to Robert Reich, Chancellor’s Professor of Public Policy at the University of California at Berkeley, Senior Fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies and former Secretary of Labor in the Clinton administration. The Tax Policy Center projects this plan would explode the budget, resulting in a $2.4 trillion reduction in revenue over the next 10 years. Ultimately, our Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security would be in peril.
