Community College Partners With Carpenters Union To Enhance Career Opportunities

Recently, Butler Community College partnered with Mid-America Carpenters’ Regional Council of Apprentice & Training Program and Pittsburg State University to enhance technical careers in carpentry.

This partnership offers apprentices a pathway to a two-year associate degree from Butler and a four-year bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State. This was a group effort led by Training Director Craig Triplett, KC District Director Rocky Kloth, and Representatives/Organizers Mike Himes, Rodney Ford and Jake Kirk.

Thanks for all the hard work to create this awesome opportunity for our members!
