The Carpenters family mourns the passing of Local 1529 Representative Kevin Joyce.
This past week, Kevin was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident in the Kansas City suburb of Lenexa. Following in his father’s footsteps, Kevin became a Union Millwright in 2003 and was appointed council representative in 2018. Kevin shared his skills with many while working as an apprenticeship instructor for five years before becoming a representative.
Kevin loved spending time with his three daughters and will be greatly missed by many. Rest in peace, Brother.
