About 400 Chicago Public Schools students came out to our Chicago Training Center on Wednesday to attend a hands-on skilled trades event where they learned how to set forms, cut tile, hang drywall and other crafts of our trade.
The event – a partnership with CPS, city agencies, City Colleges of Chicago, labor unions and contractors – exposed students from all over the area to the pathways to the middle class that exist in the skilled trades.

Thanks to all our Instructors and Representatives who helped fill in to provide these students with expert training and instruction. And thanks to the students who expressed interest in becoming carpenters.
