This presentation addresses the proper selection of primarily hardwood species for successful interior and exterior projects. Factors such as sustainability, intended use, environments, hardness, relative stability and cost will be discussed. Attendees will learn about the various cuts and grades of wood species used in architectural design. Oak, poplar, maple, ash, cherry, alder and more exotic species will be covered.
