This presentation addresses the proper selection of hardwood veneers for successful interior and exterior projects. The design professional will learn about log sources, the different looks, cuts, common uses, veneer matching, pattern matching, veneer species, cores and veneer fastening. The importance of a carefully controlled job site and a professional installation will be stressed. Understanding a veneer's organic/manufactured anatomy, the various styles/types of veneers, how they are made from various trees and how best to match the correct veneer choice for the individual project will be outlined.
