Participants will learn the unique characteristics and methods of installing this new generation of green flooring; how flooring maintenance and sustainability has evolved with the green movement; and how participants can meet their green goals. This presentation will focus on green floorcovering including the EPA pyramid, VCT, resilient, linoleum, rubber, synthetic turf, wood, bamboo, laminate and carpet. Participants will also learn how achieving LEED Indoor Environmental Quality goals may help curb employee absenteeism and increase productivity and retention. INSTALL- the nationally developed training program designed for installers to achieve the dependability, precision and professionalism the craft demands, will be presented along with its applicability to architects.
